RAK International Corporate Centre (RAK ICC) was formed as per the Decree
No. 12 of 2015 and as amended by Decree No.4 of 2016 after the
consolidation of the two company registries in Ras Al Khaimah, namely RAK
International Companies (formerly a part of RAK Free Trade Zone) and RAK
Offshore (forerly a part of RAK Investment Authority).
RAK ICC is a premium Company Registry in the Emirate for International
Business Company (IBC) incorporations and is governed by the RAK ICC
Business Companies Regulations 2016 and the RAK ICC Registered Agent
Regulations 2016.
Types of activities allowed for RAK ICC Companies:
One of the advantages of the RAK ICC is that International Business Companies are allowed to conduct almost all types of activities. Examples include trading, consulting, construction, marketing and real estate.
However, similarly to all UAE “Offshore” entities, RAK ICC Companies are restricted to the following:

A company may be incorporated, continued or re-registered under these Regulations as:
i. a company limited by shares;
ii. a company limited by guarantee that is not authorized to issue shares;
iii. a company limited by guarantee that is authorized to issue shares; or
iv. an unlimited company that is authorized to issue shares
